STUDIO FRAGILE
Studio Fragile is a creative haute couture production studio, nomadic and interdisciplinary in its approach. Born out of a year-long conversation, the idea of incorporating classes and active teaching came naturally together with a strong commitment to ensuring that artisanal practices continue to thrive. Studio Fragile's vision blends traditional craftsmanship with contemporary expression, nurturing a space where knowledge is passed on and creatively reimagined.

LE CHIUSURE
Le Chiusure winery is situated in San Felice del Benaco, on the hills of Valtènesi, a few hundred metres from Lake Garda. Le Chiusure grows four hectares of vines and two hectares of olive trees in the countryside of Portese. The workshops will take place in Le Chiusure's private garden, under a Lady Bank's rose gazebo, surrounded by oleanders, lilac, lemon and fig trees, in close proximity to the vineyard. A wine tasting and light buffet will follow in the winery.

THE EMBROIDERED
GARDEN
Over the course of the summer, Le Chiusure winery and Studio Fragile, a creative production studio specialized in embroidery and haute couture technique sampling, invite you to immerse yourself in the world of luxury craftsmanship through special wine tasting experiences which will also explore the art of embroidery, textile experimentation, and refined tailoring practices — all in the inspiring, intimate garden of Le Chiusure.

The series of exclusive workshops is designed for both beginners and intermediate participants (with the possibility of arranging tailored, more advanced courses).
Whether you are looking to refine your skills or begin your creative journey, Studio Fragile's offers hands-on learning, guided by experienced professionals in haute couture production. You will learn how to embroider initials, create your own botanical or Art Nouveau inspired embroidered jewellery, embroider on watercolours or create organza flowers at candlelight, all the while tasting wines of the territory.

CALLIGRAPHY
During this workshop you will embroider your initials using the stem stitch and the french knot technique. You will decorate your initials with a chain stitch decorative frame.
​​
The workshop can be taken a second time at intermediate level, to learn how to embroider initials using the satin stitch and decorate with bead work.
​
You will be able to cut your work out from the fabric to frame into a gifted embroidery hoop. ​
​
A tasting of rosé wine and light buffet will follow the workshop.

During this workshop you will choose one of three botanical illustrations, which you will embroider to make your wearable brooch.
​
You will start by creating the silhouette of the fruit, using the chain stitch, then work your way in through sating stitch, french knots and bead work.
​
The workshop will end with a tasting of rosé wine and a light buffet, a short coffee and fruit break is offered half way through.

ART NOUVEAU BIJOUX
During this workshop you will embroider an Art Nouveau inspired subject to mount onto a ring frame. The design is inspired by stained glass motifs and will be rendered through laminated threads and bead work using Japanese Miyuki beads and crystals.

A tasting of rosè wine and a light buffet will follow the workshop; a short coffee and fruit break is offered half way through.​

EMBROIDERED
WATERCOLOURS
During this workshop you will embroider on a watercolor painted canvas, defining the shape of the subject by bringing out its silhouette through your stitches and decorating it with Japanese Miyuki beads, miniature paillettes and couvettes of similar shade to the subject of choice. You will cut your work out from the fabric to frame into a gifted embroidery hoop.

HERBARIUM
During this workshop you will embroider the silhouette of a flower or leaf based botanical subject. You will use the chain and stem stitch to define its silhouette and then decorate it with Japanese Miyuki beads, miniature crystals, paillettes and couvettes of the same shade. You will cut your work out from the fabric to frame into a gifted embroidery hoop.

A tasting of rosé wine and a light buffet will follow the workshop.
ORGANZA FLOWERS
During this workshop you will cut ovals of different size and shape from the fabric. The heat of a candle will curve the organza into petals, which you will arrange into a flower. You will use crystals to decorate the center of your flower.
